Safta is an established
and respected, ISO-9001 certified, Italian converter
of flexible packaging employing 300 people at
facilities spanning 83, 000 square metres.
Today, as in the past, at the Safta plant, flexible
packaging manufacturing harnesses the most up-to-date
and modern technologies and processes.
In 2002 Safta became part of the Guala Group,
a holding with five companies all engaged in
the packaging industry. The Group has been operating
in the packaging industry since 1955.
Acquisition by the Guala Group has injected
new energy into Safta, which can now look forward
to a bright and secure future with synergies
being shared and implemented with a view to
introducing innovative applications to the company’s
primary markets which include the food, pharmaceutical
and cosmetics industries as well as other industrial
applications.
