To achieve the quality goal,
Safta has adopted a policy which can be summarised
in the following statement:
“We undertake to
develop, produce and supply products
and services that fully meet the requirements
of our customers, in accordance with the laws
in force and the applicable regulations as regards
the environment, safety and hygiene. We set
ourselves the aim of continually improving the
quality and safety of everything we do and preventing
and gradually reducing the environmental impact
linked to our production process”.
The fulfilment of this policy is developed through
the following principles:
To privilege customer satisfaction
in terms of the Quality and Safety of the products
and services provided, through the continual
improvement of all our activities.
To bear in mind, during the planning and development
stage, the possibility of reducing the environmental
impact of our products during production, use
and disposal, at the end of their life cycle.
To minimise the environmental impact linked
to the production process and correlated services,
on the basis of what is technologically available
and in respect of Safety principles.
To prevent possible sources of pollution, to
contain the formation of waste and the consumption
of primary and secondary resources (materials,
fuel, energy) by developing salvage or recycling
to reduce disposal and wastage.
To apply a system of analysis of the risks for
the health and safety of workers as well as
the safety and hygiene of products, by implementing
the necessary corrective action.
To develop the Integrated Management System,
assessing its performance by means of Management
review and analysis of the deviation from the
aims established each time, operating from the
point of view of continual improvement.
To train staff adequately so that they arrive
at the conviction that Quality, protection of
the Environment, Safety and Hygiene of the work
environment and of the product supplied is everybody’s
responsibility.
To provide the external staff working in the
Company with the necessary information to operate
in compliance with the rules of our Management
System for Quality, the Environment, Safety
and Hygiene.
To provide the external interlocutors with adequate
information about the progress of our Integrated
Management System.
