Safta was amongst the first European industries to install industry-leading systems safeguarding our natural resources. In 1980 Safta installed a solvent recovery plant to reduce SOV emissions, while in 1991 a wastewater purifying plant was introduced for the treatment of the wastewater flowing from the galvanic plants.
